Life Skills Therapy Center and Therapy Works Inc. present the fourth courseĀ in the Sensory Integration Workshop Series entitled Implementing Sensory Integration-Based Intervention on the 18th of November 2007 at Therapy Works Inc. in Paranaque City.

Course Description
Intervention using a sensory integration framework has several distinct characteristics. Many practitioners confuse sensory integration intervention with other approaches. This workshop will discuss the characteristics of intervention using a sensory integration framework as originally formulated by Dr. A. Jean Ayres. It will present specific intervention guidelines for addressing different dysfunctions of sensory integration including sensory modulation, sensory discrimination and praxis problems across the lifespan. Strategies on combining sensory integration with other approaches will be discussed. Participants will be provided with the opportunity to view actual sensory integration interventions and try out some of these interventions.

Only 20 slots are available so early registration is encouraged. Pre-requisites to this course are courses 1, 2 & 3.
