The International Conference on Aging, Disability and Independence will be held in St. Petersburg, Florida on February 20 – 23, 2008 with the theme: Advancing Technology and Services to Promote Quality of Life. It focuses on approaches to support people as they age in maintaining independence in daily living at home, at work and in the community.
With seven tracks – including Smart Homes/ Robotics, Assistive Technology, Transportation, Injury Prevention, Telehealth, Livable Homes and Communities, and Work and Aging – participants will have the opportunity to experience state-of-the-science research and development, learn what’s new in the business community, and update practice and service skills.
More than 250 sessions, poster sessions, plenaries and pre-conference intensives combine to make this an educational opportunity you won’t want to miss. Visit the conference website to view the preliminary agenda or to register for this event.
