Candidates whose scores were invalidated were offered an opportunity to re-take the NPTE at no cost. At this time, 12 candidates have retaken the NPTE; seven have failed and five have passed. Candidates who fail the NPTE are allowed to register and pay for additional re-takes within the existing NPTE policy guidelines.
