Course objectives
In the course, you will learn the principles of Dry Needling, the safety issue about this technique, and have practical session of assessing and treating the problems of muscle strain, muscle tightness, tendonitis, sprain, swelling, Neck Pain, Low Back Pain, Sciatica, Piriformis Syndrome, Knee Pain, ACL Injury, ITB Syndrome, Chronic Sprain Ankle, Shin Splint, Plantar Fasciitis, Bunion Pain, Tight Upper Trapezius, Shoulder pain, Elbow pain, DeQuervain’ s Syndrome, Trigger Finger, Hand Numbness, TMJ pain, headache and abdominal pain.

About the speakers
Lau Siu On is a physiotherapist who specialized on treating musculoskeletal cases by using Needling technique. He has abundant experience in teaching Physical Therapists. He served in Hong Kong Sports Institute and experienced in treating the Hong Kong Elite Athletes. He was the speaker of Sports Medicine And Rehabilitation Therapy Convention (SMART) at Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. He completed the Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) in Canada and has the Diploma in Acupuncture in Hong Kong.

Mr. Valentin Dones III has been practicing manual therapy for many years. He is an academician, clinician and a researcher. He had attained his Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and had completed the Upper Quarter and Lower Quarter of the Mulligan Course in CAPRI in India. He finished his Dorn Method Instructor Course under the Akademie fur Holistische Heil-Arten International, Germany. He is a renowned local and international speaker whose main expertise is in orthopedic manual therapy. With years of experience in manual therapy, he had already certified health practitioners who opted to learn Biomechanical taping and Dorn Method Therapy. Currently, he is taking up his PhD in Health Sciences in the University of South Australia.

Fee

  1. if ever i would be able to attend the dry needling course. Is it enough that we can practice or treat patient(s)using this dry needling method?
