Better safe than sorry.
Decent and safe workplaces are a necessary prerequisite to a firm’s lasting productivity and viability.
Work-related injuries and accidents account for numerous lost man-hours as well as substantial amounts for employee compensation and rehabilitation.
In general, ergonomics is concerned with optimizing the interaction of humans with environments, objects and systems. Ergonomics applies multidisciplinary knowledge in the design of equipment and work areas to minimize worker fatigue and discomfort, therefore maximizing their productivity and well-being.
Applying ergonomics in the design of workplaces need not be an expensive endeavor. This two-day lecture-workshop will expose the participant to the various concepts of ergonomics and its practical applications. It features hands-on and practical workshop examples that can be easily replicated in your respective workplaces.
