After the course The Academy of Oriental Medicine will issue each participant a GRADUATE DIPLOMA (postgraduate award following the successful completion of an academic programme) in Acupuncture for Pain Relief & Structural Dysfunction. This diploma is especially designed for medical professionals within the UK to perform Acupuncture within their scope of practice. The course is registered and approved by the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine and also the graduates will be eligible to join the British Register of Complementary Practitioners. As all the graduates are already qualified/licensed medical professionals and the Acupuncture would be used within the limits of their scope, practice of this would be acceptable and recognized in Europe, US and most countries.
Course Pre-Requisite: Licensed Medical Professionals with background on Anatomy, Physiology and First Aid (such as Nurse, Physical Therapist, Manual Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Osteopath, Chiropractor, Doctor)
End of the Course: The end of program examination is to help you gain a professional qualification in Acupuncture for Pain Relief and Structural Dysfunction.
Registration / Approval: This course is recommended and approved by the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine (ICNM) and British Register of Complimentary Practitioners (BRCP)
Course Cost: P45,000.00 50% (non-refundable) deposit is to be paid ON OR BEFORE September 9, 2011 Remaining balance to be settled 1 week before start of the course
Introduction to Acupuncture, Health & Safety, Contra-Indications, etc.
Basic Theory of Pain in TCM
Acupuncture apparatus (such as TDP Lamp, Electro-Stimulator, etc.)
Treatment of pain and dysfunction to the upper/lower extremities, spine, pelvis & head.
