GENERAL LEARNING OBJECTIVES OF THE PROPOSED SEMINAR- WORKSHOP:
Understand the updated definition, characteristics, classification, and pathophysiology of cerebral palsy based on the Bobath Concept/ NDT.
Understand the basic principles and theoretical framework of the Bobath Concept relevant to the assessment and management children with cerebral palsy in the Philippine setting.
Describe the clinical picture, both typical and atypical, of children with cerebral palsy from infancy to adulthood, and discuss the interaction of problems that contribute to the clinical picture.
Demonstrate skill in handling, specifically in tone influencing patterns given a particular set of problems of posture and movement.
