Fascia Manipulation of the Upper Body Matrix Using Structural Integration Concepts

Rolfing or structural integration has been known for its deep tissue manipulation. Though this is a misconception. The superficial layer can have an effect on the deep layers.

Learn how you can work on the superficial tissues so you can affect the deep structure. Many of the pains relating to poor posture can be resolved using this method of manipulation.

In this workshop, you will learn the basic concepts of how body structure affects function. This involves body reading of the upper body and how different parts of the body affect each other. You will to be taught how to manipulate the fascia and soft tissue in the most efficient way covering the thorax, arms, neck and head.

David Lee is an Advanced Rolf Practitioner, a member of the Guild for Structural Integration and International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI), dedicated to the teaching of Dr Ida P Rolf, founder of the Rolf technique. He has been an Assistant Instructor in Visceral Manipulation with the Barral Institute in Singapore. In 2010 and 2011, he assisted Tom Myers in the popular “Anatomy Trains” course held in Hong Kong.
