We formally launched this website last Friday, the 31st of August, with a massive barrage of emails to online communities in the hopes of gaining wider readership from fellow Filipino therapists from around the world. I was trying not expect a lot of response from the promotion of AngTherapist.com but I was so relieved to see the jump in visitor count and feed subscribers over the weekend.
If you’re one of those who have received news about AngTherapist.com, we’d like to thank you for clicking on that link and browsing through our site. We are thoroughly overwhelmed and grateful! In return, we promise to give our very best in making this site worthy of your continued support.
AngTherapist.com, being new in the world wide web, is still a work in progress. We are striving to find ways to improve it even more for the benefit of our readers. Our vision is to provide the best source of information and web community to therapists in the Philippines and abroad. That is why we like to hear from you. This is your community. It will build on the experiences you share and the friendships you establish.
If you’ve noticed, we have several features here that help make the site more comprehensive. I’ve also added a few new ones over the weekend to make it more user-friendly.
For more interactive and in-depth discussion of a variety of topics, we have set up a forum for all those interested. Of course, you can still post your comments here in the blog but if you want to be in the company of colleagues and friends and talk about just anything under the sun, head on over to the discussion board and register to be a member.
Some of the posts in this blog may be worth sharing to other people that you know who might find it also interesting. You can click on the Share This link at the end of each entry and from there, you’re given several options on how to distribute the information that you want. This can be done through email or if you’re a blogger yourself, you can bookmark it and talk about it on your site.
Please don’t forget to mention where you got the article from. All of the articles written here are original, except of course for seminar announcements. If you see something in quotes, those are the ones we got from other sources, which, as much as possible, we acknowledge as well.
This is a tiny piece of information placed at the footer of each article. It shows how popular the article is with the readers based on the frequency of views.
As this website is fairly new, we are very open to your comments and suggestions on how to benefit the readers more. If you’ve got a neat idea to share, please don’t hesitate to let us know about it. Here’s how:
- Type them in our comments section in the blog;
- Leave a shout-out in our guestbook.
- Post it in the forum.
- Or if you want to do it in private, send us an email.
If you want us to feature anything related to our profession, feel free to email us as well. We are accepting original articles, announcements of seminars, job vacancies, and other important events.
