When & Where
August 30 – September 2, 2012 (9am-6pm)
Rm. 1203 One Executive Office Building,
Delta West Avenue, Quezon City, Philippines
The Craniosacral Approach Practical Integration class is designed to introduce the participants to a standard protocol based on the work of William Garner Sutherland, D.O. and is an excellent introduction to CST in general as it gives an overview of the first three CST classes. It is for the participant who wishes to learn the most widely applicable techniques of Craniosacral therapy in a clinical setting. This four-day class is structured to offer an improvisational application of CST, giving more of the basic evaluative and therapeutic techniques to help an array of acute and chronic problems.
Techniques from CST-1, CST-2, and CST-3 will include: arcing, stillpoint, v-spread, diaphragms, core link, fascial glide, sphenoid, temporals, unwinding, chakras, and meridians. The emphasis will be on application and how CST is actually practiced in the clinic setting. For the therapist who is not interested in taking a long series of classes and just wants to learn the basics, for the therapist already working hands-on in their respective field and wants an overview, or for the skilled CST practitioner as a great review, this is the class for you.
The four-day class consists of lectures, demonstrations, and supervised practice sessions throughout each day. Techniques are designed to work with clients seven (7) years of age and older. No prerequisite class is required.
Instructor: Jim Green, B.S., L.M.T., CST-D
