About the presenter:
Deanna Sava, MS, OTR/L is an occupational therapist in the Barrington Community Unit School District 220 in Barrington, Illinois. She has worked in school-based OT since 1996. Her certifications include: Assistive Technology RIATT Specialist, Sensory Integration, and Listening with the Whole Body / Advanced Listening with the Whole Body. She has also been awarded the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association Award of Merit. Sava has been published in numerous journals and magazines, including ADVANCE, and has presented at the AOTA Annual Conference.
