  • The Emotional World of Infants and Toddlers – This plenary will look at research discoveries during the past two decades that offer a vivid new portrayal of infants. Presenters will explore profound early insights into mental states that very young children achieve during the first two years of life.
  • Policy Initiatives to Address the Needs of the Most Vulnerable Infants and Toddlers – Presenters in this plenary will describe ways in which we can design policies that address the needs of both children living in poverty and children of immigrant families that can also support the healthy development of all children.
  • Group Care in the US: Past, Present & Future Opportunities to Improve Quality Care – The third plenary will offer a lively dialogue among leading voices in the field on the history of group care for infants and toddlers, the obstacles we have faced over the years in providing high quality group care and current efforts and progress to overcome these challenges.
