WCD Expo 2007 is going to be held on the 15th to the 17th of November 2007 at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., USA.
There are over 300 exhibitors in the expo displaying the latest products and services that are improving the lives of those with disabilities. Special events will include the following: Sports & Entertainment Showcase, Disability Career Fair, Accessibility Showcase and Assistive Technology Showcase.
Educational seminars are also being offered in 5 comprehensive tracks — APA, Assistive Tech, Education, Family and Healthcare. This year’s program will feature over 70 multi-disciplinary sessions sponsored by the WCD Foundation for Education, Inc, with the support of leading professional societies and organizations. During this intensive three-day educational experience, information and ideas on today’s most important issues will be exchanged between people with disabilities, their families and caregivers, physicians, direct support professionals, allied healthcare professionals, educators and adapted physical education specialists.
