Here is an announcement from the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Executive Director first.
The WFOT Executive Management Team have established an international search to fill the Editor’s position for the production of the WFOT Bulletin. Please click on “to download the associated file” below for a copy of the covering letter, position description and person specification. The World Federation is asking for your cooperation in circulating this as widely as possible.
The WFOT (World Federation of Occupational Therapists) Bulletin is published twice a year – in May and in November. The production of the WFOT Bulletin is congruent with WFOT’s organizational objectives and priorities in the following aspects:
1. Increase and maintain the awareness, understanding and use of WFOT and the services of occupational therapists; and
2. Facilitate the expansion and dissemination of professional knowledge.
Applicants must include their reason for applying, what specific skills and attributes they will bring to the position including demonstrating their competencies in line with Position Specification and provide a relevant CV in electronic format.

This is a volunteer position that may be entitled to an honorarium in the future.

The Section of Occupational Therapy of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the UP-Philippine General Hospital is now accepting applications for its Staff Screening Program for 2008. It is a 4-week program designed to provide an objective basis for ranking applicants for an Occupational Therapist Staff position. Staff Screening Program period is from February 04-29, 2008.
General Learning Goals & Objectives
To provide opportunity for the applicants to demonstrate their knowledge and clinical skills and be evaluated in the following areas:
- clinical competencies
- teaching and supervisory skills
- documentation skills
- professional behavior and attitude
- organizational and administrative skills
- other exceptional skills
- Pediatric OT Clinic (Psychiatric & Physical Dysfunction)
- Adult Rehabilitation
- Acute Cardiac/Pulmo Rehabilitation
- Splinting & Brace Clinic
- Dysphagia OT Clinic

- One (1) copy of Resume with recent 2×2 picture (must include details regarding applicant’s work history)
- One (1) copy of Transcript of Records
- One (1) copy of PRC license, certificate, and board rating
