CSP Congress 2009 is an international conference for physiotherapy professionals, presented by the educational, professional and trade union body of 48,000 of the UK’s physiotherapists, students and associates.

The 2009 programme comprises clinical and occupational sessions, research-based and workshop-based sessions within six themes:

  • cardio-respiratory
  • education and leadership
  • health, work and wellbeing
  • musculoskeletal
  • neurology
  • preparing for 2012 Olympics and beyond

2009 AOTA Annual Conference & Expo

HPC Launches Online Change of Contact Service

The Health Professions Council (HPC) has recently announced that registrants may now change their contact details online, and not need to wait to speak to a registration adviser to get this done. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However for security reasons, registrants must be able to provide the unique authentication code which is provided together with your authentication card upon renewal. For those without internet access, they may still contact the registration department to change details over the phone on 0845 3004 472, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

Get to know the basics of aquatic therapy, when to use it, how to go about it, and how the proper use of this technique.

B. SENSORY INTEGRATION (1:30 PM – 4:30PM)

Learn the basics and principles of sensory integration plus the common problems and the reasons underlying it. Know also the environmental modification techniques (adapting the home or space) and the importance of play and self-care tasks in sensory processing/ integration for children with special needs.
